Healthy Meals for Families | Free Meal Plan | Free Grocery List

My goal with this series is to make meal planning easier for you! Every week I'll have a list of meals, links to the recipes and a free printable grocery list.

To see the full list of recipes, links and FREE printable grocery are a family of 6, with 2 adults and 3 kids eating these meals. I like to make most of our meals from scratch and I avoid using too much dairy, no refined sugars and almost no gluten.

You will notice there are only 4 meals on the plan. For the 5th meal, as well as on the weekends, we eat leftovers or make simple meals. Maybe cheese, crackers and veggies with dip. Or peanut butter and jelly on our favorite sourdough english muffins with a side. You get the idea. We are usually too busy with projects or plans to sit down and eat a real meal, so we keep it simple.

I'll be honest, meal planning is not my favorite thing to do. But I have tried just winging it and it never goes well. As much as I wish I could just think of meals on the fly, I just can't and I get frustrated mid-week if I try to do it that way.

So every week, I look through Pinterest and my favorite blogs to come up with the meals I will make for the week. I then take inventory of what I already have on hand, make a grocery list and head to my all time favorite store, Trader Joe's.

I hope this is helpful to you and helps make your meal planning a little bit easier!
